The only difference is the "Lite" version does not include source code.

Developers tend to buy source code for three reasons:

- Safety: If the developer of a library disappears, having the source code allows you to continue it even with new versions of Delphi
- Documentation: The best way to understand what a method does it to review its code
- Customization: If a function does not work quite to your liking, you can modify it
