Hi Nigel
Rotated layers not only behave strangely while resizing by mouse (completely uncontrollable movement that is far away from the cursor that initially dragged the moving handle, while resizing when you try to pixel perfect design something),
they also are hard to select, or to avoid while selecting a not rotated layer nearby.
The mouseselection by click has some fixed spots where the cursor changes to move and enables moving (but not
on the whole layer area.

If that layer is rotated, it will use a big square check for the area, if you try and marquee mark a different layer.
If that other layer is inside the huge (not rotated like the layer) square,
then imageen marks the rotated layer instead of the second layer.
Just because the checking is done with a oversized, non rotated square area.
I send you a link to this bug by mail.

Hi

We are still looking into the rotated layer sizing issue.

Thanks, the selection issues are both gone.
I still hope for the future that sizing of rotated layers will also be fixable one day, as right now (as shown in the video), you can't design and resize stuff anymore, once a layer is rotated.
Imagine doing a pixel perfect colage or design with that weird unpredictable movements, while the layers are moving all over the place instead
of just expanding and contracting with the movement of the resizing marker. Right now the whole layer cruzes all over the place, far away of the mouse and does funny things.
But i guess it is still a hard thing to fix because of the math of the rotation.

Hi

These two issues should be fixed in the second beta (1005) that I sent you today.
