I have big black-and-white image with color annotations.

Is there a way to print in color without converting image to 24 bit and combine annotations with background?

It is the same, paint/render/combine colored annotations require always an RGB destination bitmap.

This could be possible if TImageEnVect rendered objects on a canvas. Unfortunately it renders objects only to TIEBitmap, so for colored objects it requires a 24 bit image.
